A Human Resources Manager will make a personalized Training Plan for you. This Training Plan will allow you to learn and progress to be able to grow within the company up to high management positions.


Thanks to the Management Training Program you will get complete exposure in one or several departments in a luxury hotel and you will be trained with the aim of rapidly becoming a top manager in your field.


Placement International will guide candidates with practical and legal advice for their trip and to help them find housing. We will be constantly following their progress and we will ask for the candidates’ periodical feedback. In case of an emergency, candidates will be able to reach us 24/7.

Internships and Management Trainings in the USA

Many US businesses are interested in hosting an international Trainee and are very dedicated to the value of cultural exchange. For those companies that are interested in the program but do not have their own means of recruitment, Placement International works closely with them to create open training positions that are then made available to qualified candidates from around the world.

As an interested applicant, the Trainee Select service allows you to search through a listing of open positions, and to submit application material for positions of particular interest and relevance. The positions represented on this posting site typically cover a wide variety of industries and position types, and offer training opportunities of varying lengths at locations throughout the US. Internship 6-12 months

Hotel Operations Internship  Culinary

 

Description
 
This is a paid Hyatt internship program for students seeking an understanding of the hospitality industry. This internship includes a 6-12 months exposure to the hotel operations - Culinary Division.    

 

Qualifications
 

  • 18+ year old
  • Must be enrolled in a university or college outside of the U.S. or have graduated from one within 12 months prior to the start of your internship
  • Must be fluent in English

Hotel Rooms Operations Internship

 

Description
 
This is a paid Hyatt internship program for students seeking an understanding of the hospitality industry. This internship includes exposure to the hotel operations division and may include rotations in Hyatt's Rooms Divisions; including Front Desk, Guest Services, and Communications Departments. A flexible schedule and excellent communication skills are required.

 

Qualifications
   

  • 18+ year old
  • Must be enrolled in a university or college outside of the U.S. or have graduated from one within 12 months prior to the start of your internship
  • Must be fluent in English

 

Operations Internship (Front Office & Regency Club) 

Description
 

This is a paid Hyatt internship program for students seeking an understanding of the hospitality industry. This internship includes exposure to the hotel operations division and may include rotations in Hyatt's Rooms, Food and Beverage, or Engineering departments.

Rooms management training 

Description
 

This is a paid Hyatt management training  program for graduates seeking an understanding of the hospitality industry. This management training exposure to the hotel operations division and may include rotations in Hyatt's Rooms, Food and Beverage, or Engineering departments.

  • Must possess a degree or certificate from a post-secondary institution outside of the U.S. and 1 year of professional experience; or must have 5 years of professional experience

Food and Beverage management training 

Description
 

This is a well paid Hyatt management training  program for graduates seeking an understanding of the hospitality industry. This management training includes exposure to the hotel food and beverage division and may include rotations in banqueting,  meeting & events and restaurant.

Sales and Marketing management training

Description
 

This is a well paid Hyatt management training  program for graduates seeking an understanding of the hospitality industry. This management training includes exposure to the hotel sales and marketing  division.
The Sales trainee must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. Computer proficiency of: 50+ wpm, Microsoft suite and E-mailing systems are a must. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor and the ability to learn new computer programs and above all else can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. This position also serves as the receptionist for Hyatt Regency 's Sales and Catering offices. A working knowledge of hotels is necessary due to the interaction with guests. Creativity is a plus given that many tasks require the ability to solve adverse problems.

Maintenance Management training

Description

As a Maintenance Manager in the Engineering department, your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee areas and employees that provide maintenance to the resort

Management training

Starwood offers a Management Training program for graduates that exposes them to the places, people and practices that will help set the foundation for success throughout their careers. The training program combines practical experience with professional development, mentoring, and a rotation through operations and support departments. The length of training varies from 6 to 18 months depending on discipline. At the completion of the training, each participant is placed into an assistant manager, manager or comparable position at the same hotel where they trained.

Trainees concentrate in a choice of rooms, food and beverage, culinary, human resources, finance, revenue management, convention services or sales and are placed at one of our North American hotels. Management Training opportunities are available at select properties and every effort will be made to match a candidate's geographic and department preferences. However, candidates are strongly encouraged to be flexible about their geographic and department preferences to increase their likelihood of placement.
